Orbis scores highly in The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For list

Orbis Technology Limited, a leading provider of online gaming and betting software, has been recognised as one of the UK’s best companies to be employed by according to a new survey from The Sunday Times newspaper.

Now in its ninth year, the Best Companies To Work For list from The Sunday Times caters for firms with between 250 to 4,999 employees and is widely recognised as the UK’s definitive survey of working satisfaction.

London-based Orbis was placed at position 51 out of 964 participating companies, which was the highest ranking for an online gaming firm, after its workforce gave their opinions on the organisation’s key statistics, processes and policies. The firm employs 285 people and stated that it scored a place in the highly esteemed list by ‘being successful in leadership, well being, my manager, my team, fair deal, giving something back, my company and personal growth’ categories.

“Orbis’ success is largely down to the company’s vibrant culture of technical excellence and product innovation with a strong emphasis on employee satisfaction,” said David Loveday, Chief Executive Officer for Orbis.

Orbis ranked in sixth spot nationally for its overall ‘fair deal’ with 72 percent of its employees being pleased with their benefits, which include free private healthcare, life assurance, loans, dental insurance, subsidised gym memberships, performance-related pay and a share option scheme plus a worker assistance programme and discounted services.
