Online Casino Goes Live With CasinoModule
15 December 2008
Swedish online gaming software developer Net Entertainment has announced that a new virtual casino has gone live at VCCasino.com utilising its award-winning CasinoModule technology.
The Stockholm-based firm revealed that the site’s debut followed the signing of a licensing agreement for the software in July between itself and Victor Chandler, one of the world’s leading sportsbetting and online gaming companies. Founded in 1946, Victor Chandler serves players in over 160 nations and is one of the most respected and reputable operators in the industry.
“Given the size of our business, it is crucial for us to work with software that is stable yet flexible,” said Michael Carlton, Chief Executive Officer for Victor Chandler.
“VCCasino.com is a core part of our product offering and we were very pleased to seal a strategic partnership with Net Entertainment. Now that we have launched our new casino, we are fully expecting significant growth through 2009.”
Net Entertainment develops digitally distributed systems for Internet gaming and revealed that its core product, CasinoModule, is a complete platform comprising a high number of browser-based games as well as a powerful administration tool.
“We were delighted to have reached this agreement with Victor Chandler, one of the most well-known and largest gaming operators in the world,” said Johan Ohman, Chief Executive Officer for Net Entertainment.
“The agreement is further evidence of Net Entertainment’s ability to attract high-profile licensees to its client base. It was a milestone for Net Entertainment. Not only did we manage to sign an agreement with Victor Chandler, but we also took a large step into the UK market with a prominent UK brand. This proves yet again that we are market leaders in browser-based casino software.”
