New online poker site set for February debut

01 December 2009

A new online poker site from Gioia International Limited is set to launch over the next few months at RealDealPoker.com featuring an automated system that replaces the standard random number generator with real cards.

The new patented system is called Cut N’ Shuffle and has been designed to replicate actual games of poker that players may experience in a casino, home game or land-based tournament.

Cut N’ Shuffle features the provision of a ‘cut function’ alongside the deployment of ‘burn cards’, something that Gioia stated is not provided by any other online poker site. In addition, RealDealPoker.com will see the implementation of Game Check, which is unique audit software that produces post-game results.

RealDealPoker.com is scheduled for a February launch and is being brought to the market with help from software firm Red Planet Gaming Incorporated. The two revealed that they are currently testing the site while players can visit the domain to sign up and reserve their preferred screen names.

“This is a unique moment in the company’s history,” said Gene Gioia, Chief Executive Officer for Gioia.

“In addition to assembling a first rate management team, we have found in Red Planet Gaming Incorporated a partner who shares our passion for bringing a truly fair game of poker to players around the world and changing the face of poker online as we know it today.”

Gioia stated that Cut N’ Shuffle scrambles, shuffles and deals real decks of cards before digitising the results and then translating this to its online poker table games.

“I have never seen someone as committed as Gene Gioia to bringing a truly remarkable product to the market,” said Vahe Baloulian, Chief Executive Officer for Red Planet Gaming.

“His passion and understanding of what poker is about has resulted in a product that will make the poker world sit up and take note. I am delighted that Red Planet Gaming is partnering Gioia International Limited in this unique venture.”
