Media Corporation partners with Hippodrome Casino

Internet media and advertising group Media Corporation has signed an agreement with London’s soon-to-open Hippodrome Casino that will see it provide a suite of online casino and poker games to HippodromeCasino.com.

London-based Media Corporation is the firm behind the Eyeconomy.co.uk Internet advertising service and revealed that it will supply HippodromeCasino.com with a branded online offering starting with casino and poker in April before expanding to sportsbetting and bingo through the course of 2012.

Media Corporation stated that it will ‘maintain the software’ for HippodromeCasino.com and handle ‘all financial transactions’ and the site’s around-the-clock customer support while also launching a ‘unique service in the UK casino market’ that will give land-based players the ability to make cash deposits and withdrawals using their online accounts.

“While we already have a sizeable business in online poker, growth of our online casino business has been a particular focus for the group. The deal will be a major step change for Media Corporation as we build a significant presence in the UK and international online gaming market.”

Revenues from the new operation are set to be shared with Media Corporation declaring that it forecasts generating approximately 100,000 new customers per year while cash deposits in the first twelve months are predicted to be around twelve million pounds.
