Inspired Sale Abandoned By Icelanders 

English entertainment and gambling machine developer Inspired Gaming Group has announced that it has ended talks regarding its possible takeover by Icelandic investment firm FL Group.

The Burton-on-Trent-based firm provides open service-based gaming (SBG) software systems and SBG digital and networked terminals and stated that FL no longer plans to buy it with negotiations having been abandoned.

Inspired said it received an indicative $543.6 million cash takeover offer from FL in September but that subsequent and protracted talks have come to nothing.
