iGaming Super Show to host domain name auction

Leading publisher and events organiser iGaming Business (iGB) has announced that its upcoming iGaming Super Show will feature a special showcase auction for domain names associated with online gambling.

The iGaming Super Show will take place at the PVA Letnany Exhibition Centre in Prague from May 25 to 28 and is free for those who pre-register.

The auction is set to be conducted by SnapNames.com Incorporated and Moniker Online Services, which are both long-established leaders in Internet real estate and subsidiaries of Oversee.net, to give delegates the chance to acquire URLs in their specific vertical markets.

Featured domains up for grabs will include Poker.ca, BlackJackTable.com, PokerLessons.com, SevenCardPoker.com, BlackjackTouraments.com and InternetGames.net with additional details available at www.Showcase.Snapnames.com/2010/05/iGaming-Super-Show-Auction 

“The iGaming Super Show is the biggest event in the industry this year so it made sense to partner with the most experienced online domain name company to ensure that our delegates get the best domains and services available,” said Alex Pratt from iGB.

“Domain name acquisition is highly competitive and this is an opportunity for everyone to bid on premium URLs and established domain names.”

Expected to attract up to 2,500 delegates, the iGaming Super Show has been designed as two shows under one roof. One half will be dedicated to the mainstream sector covering areas such as jurisdictions, payment solutions, software and technical suppliers while the remainder has been set aside for the affiliate sector.

“We will be offering some great domain names in this auction,” said Monte Cahn from Moniker.

“The large and relevant portfolio for this auction won’t be available anywhere else and this event will reach one of the largest gaming sector audiences.”

iGB revealed that the domain name auction would officially open for online bidding on May 24 before closing on June 1 at 12.15pm Los Angeles time.
