30 January 2012

American gaming technology and services provider GTECH Corporation has announced that its GTECH Printing Corporation subsidiary has won a three-year contract to serve as the sole instant-ticket printing services supplier for the West Virginia Lottery.
GTECH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lottomatica, one of the world’s largest commercial lottery operators, and revealed that the deal, which is expected to commence from February 1, was secured following a competitive procurement process and contains a pair of one-year extension options.
“The West Virginia Lottery's confidence in our ability to meet the challenges of its market is very gratifying,” said Alan Eland, President and Chief Operating Officer for GTECH Printing Corporation.
“We value the opportunity to create a new partnership with the West Virginia Lottery to help further grow its instant-ticket programme and maximise funds the Lottery generates for West Virginia senior citizens, education and tourism.'
