Grand Series Of Poker Returns

Online poker room TowerGaming.com has announced that it has brought back its popular Grand Series Of Poker (GSOP) for a second edition featuring twice as many events and a guaranteed prize pool of $3.4 million.

GSOPII kicked off last week and features a total of 16 events with different buy-ins including no-limit Texas hold'em, pot-limit Omaha, Omaha high-low and Texas hold'em fixed-limit events.

Qualifying events started in February for this month’s 16 tournaments while TowerGaming.com has revealed that players can still enter daily qualifiers for the GSOPII Final, which is scheduled for May 3 at eight o’clock in the evening Chicago time. It stated that the buy-in for these qualifiers range in price from $11 to $33 with a guaranteed ticket worth $5,000.00 to the Final in each.

In addition, the top 100 players throughout the tournament will be able to fight it out for a ticket through TowerGaming.com’s leaderboard challenge while those with enough money can purchase their seat directly for $5,000.

TowerGaming.com revealed that it offers over $2.3 million in guaranteed tournament prizes each weekend with over $15 million guaranteed each and every month.
