In France, the Autorite De Regulation Des Jeux En Ligne (ARJEL) regulatory authority has awarded nine more operations including giants PKR.com and FullTiltPoker.com with licenses.
FullTiltPoker.com is the world’s second largest online poker domain in terms of the number of players and it will now be able to offer games to French players via a sub-site located at FullTiltPoker.fr.
For its part, PKR.com offers next-generation three-dimensional games of online poker utilising interactive character avatars and French customers can enjoy its services using PKR.fr.
This latest wave of approvals takes the total number of licenses issued by ARJEL to 27 and also includes French authorisation for the online sportsbetting joint ventures between Canal+ and Ladbrokes at CanalWin.fr and Canal-Win.fr.
Other approved operations include the BarrierePoker.fr online poker offering from French land-based firm Lucien Barriere Hotels And Casinos alongside new sites at PokerSubito.fr from AD Astra and FullFun’s PokerXtrem.fr.
French parimutuel horserace betting site Zeturf.fr has also been approved alongside competitor GenBet.fr from Geny Infos and Jeux 365’s online sportsbetting and poker domains Paris365.fr, Jeux365.fr, Poker365.fr and Football365.fr.
