eCOGRA Happy With ICEi 2009

Leading standards and player protection organisation e-Commerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance
(eCOGRA) has announced that the upcoming International Casino Exhibition Interactive (ICEi) 2009 will be ‘a coming
of age’ for the iGaming sector.

ICEi 2009 is scheduled to take place during the International
Gaming Expo (IGE) being held at London’s Earls Court Exhibition Centre from January 27 to 29 with eCOGRA stating that
the trade show will include the most mature, accountable and responsible gathering of iGaming exhibitors in the industry’s
brief history.

“The e-gaming industry has worked tirelessly over the last decade to ensure it
conducts itself with the integrity and transparency absolutely vital to player protection and retention,” said Tex Rees,
Fair Gaming Advocate for London-based eCOGRA.

“Anyone visiting ICEi 2009 will be exposed to
a sector made up of modern, go-ahead companies committed to best business practice. I think, in some ways, January’s
exhibition can be described as a coming of age for e-gaming.

A non-profit organisation, eCOGRA
oversees fair gaming, player protection and responsible operator conduct for the online gambling industry and
will be on hand at ICEi next month to meet operators and spread its message.

“We have recently
extended our remit beyond online casinos and poker rooms to include bingo and sportsbooks,” said Rees.

“We are extremely keen to meet the people and companies who exist in this sector and see if we can work together
to extend our services beyond our current offerings.”
