Casagaming Executives Join Chance
20 April 2009

Chance, one of the largest providers of betting services in the Czech Republic, has announced the hiring of two former executives for online games operator Casagaming Limited, Peter Sederowsky and Mikko Holma.
A State-licensed gambling operation, Chance reported revenues approaching €64.3 million last year and has almost 1,000 employees and 450 land-based betting shops.
The news follows last week’s announcement that online gaming software developer Entraction Holding AB is set to sell its Casagaming operating subsidiary to iGame Limited in a deal worth €4.5 million.
Casagaming operates popular sites including 24hPoker.com and MartinsPoker.com and Solna-based Entraction stated that the sale would see it complete a transition from serving as an operator to acting solely as a supplier of products and services for Internet gaming.
Sederowsky is the former Chief Executive Officer for Casagaming’s parent, Casablanca Gaming Group AB, and has replaced Pavel Moudry as boss of Chance. Holma, the former Chief Operating Officer for Casagaming, has been hired as the Czech firm’s Head Of Internet.
Holma has also worked at Helsinki’s Grand Casino and helped to establish online gaming service Staff Poker. His new role at Chance will see him focus on the company's domestic Internet activities while also serving as Senior Vice-President.
“There is a clear shift towards the Internet in the demand of customers world-wide and when providing our services to our Czech customers I want Chance to be in the absolute forefront,' said Holma.
“I am very happy to join Chance with its well-known brand and its strong position on the domestic Czech market.'
