Bookmaker.com purchases rivals

Costa Rica-licensed online sportsbook and casino BookMaker.com has announced the acquisition of rival sites BetLP.com and BetCanadian.com from Horizon Twenty SA.

The San Jose-based site stated that the acquisitions would ‘guarantee customers the premium service, benefits and advantages BookMaker.com patrons have enjoyed over the years’.

“Maintaining our growth strategy is critical for us and we continue to achieve our goals by finding strong players in the industry that can complete our wide range of products or by sharing our benefits with customers that have been playing with other companies through the acquisition,” said Mickey Richardson, Chief Executive Officer for BookMaker.com.

Bookmaker.com revealed that the transition of the two sites to its operation would be transparent with all BetLP.com and BetCanadian.com customers due to be notified of the change through a ‘planned communication strategy’.
